Born September 23, 2012
In the Gambella Region of Ethiopia
Symonne (pronounced
Sĭ-moan)
The
name means “God hears”.
It
reflects the truth that God always hears and
reflects our hearts and how we have felt in
this incredible journey…
God
has heard.
Mekal
(pronounced Mi-kale)
Her
given Ethiopian name means “sweet”.
Though we are can hardly contain
ourselves from post photos of all of her cuteness, but we are not to e-mail or post her identifying features. You can picture
in your mind this very precious girl, healthy looking, big eyes, cute nose, darling
lips, 5 ½ month old bundle of sweetness! We are so happy to welcome her! We will get to travel to meet her in a couple
of months and then go back to bring her home this summer. Thank
you for your love, support, and your continued prayers as she is cared for in
Ethiopia!
We are so thankful to the Lord and
continue to trust Him in this journey!
