One of our funnest seasons of life...

 Zach's Musical Program Night
 Fun visit from Family
 BJ's great Patriotic Musical Program
Fun Guatemalan-themed potluck at our house
 BJ's Botanical Garden Field Trip
 Fun with cousins visiting

 Fun with Cousins
Getting to ride horses at Uncle Mike's
Fun at the pond...lots of memories there
Zach finished up with a wonderful year of Kindergarten...all ready for 1st grade now

Big girl now...gave up the bottle for a few trips to get slushies...rough for awhile but seems to be improving
 Wonderful visits from dear friends...
the kids (and the parents:) had fun getting to be together

Precious friends...so happy they have each other
Its been a wonderful month of getting to be with LOTS of friends and family

 Newest cousin

And this wraps up another year of baseball, sports come easy to Zach...he is fun to watch...and had a really nice team too...it has been a good season!
And then there is just the everyday silliness...this girl spends a lot of her time in some kind of gymnastic or princess gear, high heels and some kind of accessories...but don't let her fool you...she hold her own just fine with her brothers!

With all the friends and family we have got to see...it felt like the summer fun has come early...but the reality is summer has just begun...and we LOVE summer!!!!

Behind the "8" ball

Behind the "8" ball...
what does it mean for those of us who haven't played a lot of pool?...
Fig. in trouble; in a weak or losing position, can not be touched without penalty.

So last month was "8 is great"...but this month it doesn't feel so great to get the same number again.

Its more than just the same number for this month, its doing our 5th round of fingerprinting for this adoption alone (always remember adoptive friends are the safest people you know), its trying to update all of our homestudy paperwork (3rd time for this adoption), feeling so annoying to ask our references to update all of their letters, its going through Mother's Day feeling like you are missing your baby and having no idea when you will ever be able to bring her home...hmmm...

So we continue to wait with faith and in the strength of our Lord,
He has been so faithful in the past and will continue to be.

And in His faithfulness...we have had a crazy-busy month to keep our minds off of the wait...and as soon as I get the chance to download the pictures from the whole month...I will share the fun!
